Ayumu Takasawa is the lead nail designer for The Blonds at Miami Swim Week July 2021, in collaboration with CND for Vanity Projects. Drawing inspiration from the design duo’s Halston-inspired ’80s capsule collection, Takasawa worked closely with David Blond to articulate his vision through the length, shape, and audacious crystals that reflect the time, inspiration, and collection itself. Takasawa, originally from Japan and now based in New York City, has more than ten years of NYFW experience, both leading teams and working backstage alongside other celebrity nail artists like Naomi Yasuda. Takasawa is currently the lead nail artist at Vanity Projects, New York.
