AMERICAN CREW ALL-STAR CHALLENGE 2018
The American Crew All-Star Challenge (ASC) is about being recognized as the world’s best stylist for men, and is bigger and better than ever. Countless stylists from around the world submitted styles that represented their interpretation of the modern, classic American Crew man. After going through preliminary events in their respective home countries, the top 15 stylists came together in glamorous Barcelona, Spain to compete as finalists. Working alongside leading industry experts, each finalist cut and styled their model, followed by shoot and photo selection with American Crew Founder David Raccuglia, that would represent their final look.
Vitaly Pimenov from Russia was crowned as the Global Champion of ASC 2018. “I was really inspired by texture and the length of the hair of my model, so that was my initial foundation and inspiration to the look I created,” explained Pimenov. “However, I am also influenced by different countries, their trends, people and architecture, which all shape the styles and looks I create.”
Raccuglia added that the standard for the competition continues to grow annually and he was left “blown away” by the look Vitaly created, saying, “he really showcased true craftsmanship and talent, confident in the direction of his look from the start of the competition!”
